Because of the pandemic, many Filipinos have started switching to a healthier form of transportation and at the same time a healthier hobby. An avid biker, Jeoffrey "Jio" Madridejos got into a very debilitating bike accident last September 24.

That unfortunate day, Jio, the son of one of our very own here at Glue Up got into a terrible bicycle accident causing him to need immediate medical attention. Jio, was rushed to the hospital and underwent immediate brain surgery where he was found to have internal bleeding on the left side of his brain. A few days later, on September 26th, he underwent a second surgery due to continuous bleeding but now at the right part of his brain. Doctors mentioned that in three (3) to five (5) days or even longer, it would be at it's most critical depending on his reactions to the medicine given. True enough, Jio had a seizure because of the swelling which was predicted by his doctors. Due to this very unfortunate and urgent operation, the hospital bills have quickly amounted to a whopping PHP 1.5 million($35,000 USD) to which at this time, the family isn't able to cover all expenses.
