Schmidt is the CEO of EventBank. Eric is also the Chairman and Founder of China Entrepreneurs, which he started in 2003 as an informal resource for entrepreneurs in China and it has grown to become the leading platform for entrepreneurship in China. He has worked with Chinese venture capital and private equity investments and incubated start-up technology companies. Schmidt co-founded 1 Lacrosse LLC (a sports equipment company) and successfully exited in 2009, as well as Ivy Discovery Institute (an educational services company). Schmidt has traveled to over 50 countries and in 2004, sponsored by Nike and Phillips, he traced Marco Polo’s route, cycling 100 days from Beijing, China to Venice, Italy. He holds both a MS with a focus in Technological Entrepreneurship and a BS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Schmidt has been featured on media such as the BBC, The Wall Street Journal, CCTV, China Daily and numerous other outlets.

Olivia is the COO and co-founder of EventBank. She has almost 20 years of experience in marketing and media, both as an entrepreneur and executive. Before co-founding EventBank, she was running CEBEX Group that consults for companies like Haier and Greenland and hosts hundreds of industry conferences under the China Entrepreneurs (CE) brand. Olivia was involved with successfully incubating multiple start-up companies and has assisted other companies in raising venture capital and private equity. She holds a Masters in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Sydney.

Anthony Riha is joining EventBank as Executive Director with oversight of Asia-Pacific operations and sales. Mr. Riha's background includes expertise in financial sector technologies for capital markets, M&A, asset management and venture capital/private equity. The leadership roles included Fortune 250 companies as well as SME-Growth firms which span China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Silicon Valley. Mr. Riha also volunteers as APAC head for the Irish Funds Industry Association and has served as a Keynote Speaker and Moderator/Panelist for financial services symposiums and conferences throughout Asia-Pacific. Prior to working within the finance sector Mr. Riha was a journalist serving as a Senior Producer/Writer for various ABC-News and NBC-News affiliates in the US.
